Scheduling an Appointment Online:

  1. Registration with Online Student Health allows you to schedule appointments and message your provider securely. Just follow the instructions at the site. To schedule an appointment online, click here.
  2. You can schedule a visit for many common types of problems using this on-line scheduler.
  3. You may select your choice of health center, appointment time and healthcare provider.
  4. If you cannot find an appointment type that corresponds to your symptoms or issues, please call for an appointment.

    DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT THAT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO YOUR PROBLEM!
  5. The on-line appointments are specifically linked to the give you the needed amount of time with the correct health care provider based upon the reason for the appointment.
  6. If you cannot find an appointment that fits with your time schedule or desired location, please call 848-932-7042 to speak with our appointment schedulers. 
  7. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please cancel the appointment either on-line or by calling 848-932-7402 (available only during regular business hours.)
  8. Do not schedule online if this is a medical emergency!  Call the health center at 848-932-7402 during regular business hours

Appointments Available for Scheduling Online:

  • Abdominal Pain:  for mild to moderate pain only.  do not use if you are in severe pain
  • Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea
  • Allergy Problems or Allergic Reactions:  use for hives, hayfever, etc.  do not use for allergy injections or if you are having difficulty breathing.
  • Allergy Shots:  use to have one of our nurses give you your allergy serum prescribed by your allergist.  We do not iniate allergy injections or make up serum.  Do not schedule online if this is your first visit for an allergy injection.  click here for more information
  • Asthma or Wheezing: do not schedule online if you are unable to breath or your peak flow rates are less than 50% of predicted.  use your short acting inaler and call for an appointment.
  • Cold, Earache, Sinusitis, Sore Throat, Cough: click here for information on self help until your appointment time.
  • Eye Problem:  we do not perform vision testing for glasses or contacts.
  • Skin Problems:  use this for rashes or acne.
  • Headaches-Migraine, Tension type:  do not use if you are experiencing change in level of consciousness, loss or vision, numbness or weakness on one side of your body.
  • Fatigue, Tired, Sleep Problems
  • Stress, Emotional or Personal Problems:  do not use if you are experiencing severe stress and have thoughts of suicideclick here if you need help now.
  • Ankle sprain:  please do not use for injured body parts other than ankles.
  • Back Pain
  • Chest Pain and Palpitations:  do not use if you are experiencing chest pain associated with shortness of breath, episodes of passing out or have a history of heart disease.
  • Physical-Work, School, Peace Corps, Police:  you must present all forms at the time of the physical.  you will have to make another appointment if you do not have your form with you.  complete the patient section prior to the appointment.  understand that it may take 2 visits to complete all bloodwork and paperwork depending upon what is required for your physical.
  • Annual Women’s Health Exam with Birth Control Refill:  please do not schedule during your period.  please do not douche or have sexual intercourse 24 hours before the exam.  click here for more information about this exam.
  • Annual Women’s Health Exam with Starting or Changing Birth Control: same as above but with additional time allotted to discuss your contraceptive needs.
  • Birth Control- Starting or Changing: use this if you have already had an annual exam but need to start or change your method of contraception.  click here for more information
  • Birth Control Refill:  prescriptions are often written with several refills so check with your pharmacy to see if refills are available.  use this when you are on your last refill or you do not need an annual exam.
  • Menstrual Concerns, Cramps, Irregular Bleeding, PMS
  • Urinary Tact Infection/Kidney Infection:  use this if you have burning with urination, frequent urination, blood in the urine, urgency to pee.  for females, if you have vaginal discharge do not use this appointment type.  if you are unable to secure an appointment type within 24 hours, please call for an appointment.
  • Vaginal discharge or infections: do not schedule within 24 hours of intercourse or self treatment.  click here for more information
  • Pelvic Pain:  use for mild or moderate pain.  do not schedule online for severe pain
  • Rash or Skin Problem in the Female Genital Area
  • Rash or Skin Problem in the Male Genital Area
  • STI Testing Female: may also be done as part of the annual woman’s exam.  frequency of testing depends on types of sexual behavior, number of partners and other risk factors.  click here for more information
